Whether it's a favourite view, a place full of memories, or a portrait of someone special, a commissioned painting is a lasting way to capture what matters most.

Cityscape Commissions

From the winding closes or the Old Town to the grandeur of the Castle skyline, I can create a painting of your favourite Edinburgh scene - or another place with personal meaning.  I also take requests for custom perspectives, seasons, or times of day.

Portrait Commissions

Portraits are painted in oils from photographs, with attention to personality and mood.  Whether you're marking a milestone, remembering a loved one, or commissioning a gift, each piece is tailored to your vision.

How to Commission a Painting

If you're interested in commissioning a piece:

1. Send me an email with a brief idea of what you'd like - cityscape or portrait
2. Share any photos or location references
3. I'll respond with timescale, pricing, and framing options

Please note:  Commissions are limited throughout the year to allow for original work, so early enquiry is recommended.
